Great for teaching simple measurements under the microscope

Good for low power use (x40) to demonstrate how to measure for an estimate of cell size. Not good at a higher power magnification as the imprint of the scale and numbers cannot be seen.

Nice clear graticules

The graticules come in two strips of five. Each graticule unit has three circular guides for cutting to the required size . A small curved nail scissors works well for cutting but don't hold with your fingers or you will get a neat fingerprint on the graticule which cannot be removed !
The graticule lines are etched onto the plastic backing so the graticules should remain clear, unlike the old version in which the image was on photographic film which became grainy after a while, so this is a major advance !
A bit pricy though at £50 for two strips after adding postage and VAT, but, however, they are still cheaper than most glass ones !
